Q: How can I pay for an item? A: Cheques payable to 'Beltane Equestrian' or Susan Maxwell and posted to 88 Georgetown Road, Dumfries, DG1 4DF with order request or cash/cheque upon delivery.
Q: How long will it take for a handmade item to be with me? A: Due to the leatherworking process and the pure handcrafting of each item please be prepared to wait different times due to balance of work. I deal in a strictly rotational order with work in order to return you item asap.
Q: Can you make unusual sized bridles that I cannot buy in a shop? A: Yes, if your bridle is made of different sized ones then a made to measure in English leather is the answer. a postal service is available if you are out of the region and an easy to use measuring chart will be sent to you, upon return of chart and payment the bridle will be handcrafted especially for you and your horse.
Q: Can you just fix my saddle at the yard?
A: In most occasions I will need the facilitites in my workshop to make repairs/reflock your saddle. If I get a full description of needs then I may be able to do a repair at your yard. Microchipping can be done at your yard without removal of saddle. If i need your saddle then I aim to return it to you within 7 days - the record for a full reflocking and return to customer is 24 hours at the moment! Please note that I am not affiliated to any saddle seller but I will try to find a suitable saddle for your horse through pre-owned saddles which are for safe from other horse owners in our area.
Q - Where can I leave items for you?
A: Items can be left at Tarff, Town and Country Store, Lockerbie Road, Dumfries, with Graeme Findlater, or with me personally.
