Saddle-fitting - If you are having problems with your horse then the tack is one of the first things that you should be having checked. Consider it an MOT for your tack, and riding style.
I will come to you [distance permitting, give me a call to discuss] and see your horse/horses - during the visit I will assess your horses back for any underlying signs of stress, template your horses back for size, check your saddle for size and problems, then put you, your saddle and horse together and provide you with an honest assessment of the combination. With my flocking equipment as part of my carry-kit then it can be a simple matter of a partial reflock in the yard for you to solve a problem. For a saddle that has never been flocked then a full reflock may be in order for which I need the full tools and facilities of my workshop and the saddle will be with me for about 48 hours.
If you are looking to purchase a saddle please contact me as, although I do not stock new saddles [my workshop is not large enough to accommodate that yet] I do provide a sales facility for people to leave their saddles for sale with me and I will try to match them up to customers wishing to buy. Please note that I will NEVER sell you a saddle that does not fit your horse. The welfare of your horse is of primary concern to me.
Saddle fitting visit - £40 plus fuel costs - as per Google maps.
Partial Reflock at yard - £45
Full removal of old flock, replaced with new to suit horse and rider and including a return visit to the horse and rider to doing any fine tuning necessary £90.
If you wish to leave your saddle with me to sell then it will not be left to languish and gather dust but will be taken with me to any possible buyers and will be tried on horses to assess suitability for sale. As I have a quick turnaround with saddles then it may be worth bringing it to me to sell for you.
